Our Story

The Linton Lion's Den is a nonprofit organization dedicated to meeting the basic needs of students of Linton Public School (LPS) through a unique collaboration between the community, local partnerships, and the school.

Established in early 2025, the Lion's Den was created in response to a pressing need for student support. Discussions revealed a critical gap in resources, inspiring the development of innovative solutions to ensure students' essential needs are met.

The Lion's Den offers a range of resources, including an on-campus pantry, online ordering platform, various services, events, and connections with community partners.

Our platform is designed to be completely anonymous, providing students with a confidential and shame free experience. By working closely with the school, we identify gaps, challenges, and needs, ensuring products and services readily accessible for daily use. Through strong community partnerships, we foster opportunities for support and alignment while maintaining the confidentiality of both students and the school.

The Lion's Den technology empowers students to communicate their needs privately. Students can shop for pantry items through our online ordering platform, enabling a convenient and discreet shopping experience with delivering directly to their lockers during class time. Additionally, the platform connects the students to mental health resources, emergency services, and scheduling opportunities with the school counselor.

At its core, the Lion's Den is committed to addressing the basic needs of students, paving the way for their academic success and overall well-being.
